01、學院介紹

清華大學環境學科可追溯至1928年國立清華大學設立的市政工程係，1977年建立我國第一個環境工程專業，1984年獲批組建獨立建製的環境工程係，1997年發展為環境科學與工程係，2011年成立環境學院。在我國環境工程學科奠基人陶葆楷先生和幾代清華環境人努力下，清華大學環境學院持續保持國內領先優勢
，國際影響力持續提升，連續六年QS學科排名位居世界前十，已成為我國重要的環境保護高層次人才培養基地和高水平科學研究中心。

近年來，環境學院牽頭建設區域環境安全全國重點實驗室、空地一體環境感知與智能響應研究平台（區域複合汙染控製
、跨介質大科學裝置）、清華蘇州環境創新研究院（高新科技產業化）等重要科研基地，為學院教師麵向國家重大需求和世界前沿研究提供理想平台。

Full Professor and Chair for the Division of Environmental Health

、Job Description

SOE invites applications for full-time, tenure-track or tenured faculty positions at Full Professor level. The appointments are expected to begin on January, 2027 or thereafter.

The faculty search aligns with the strategic directions of the SOE and recognition of the need for addressing critical societal challenges facing the environment and sustainability. Applicants are expected to have demonstrated excellence in research, teaching, and professional development. The successful candidates will be expected to develop and maintain an innovative and independent research with international reputation and external funding support. The candidates will also be involved in undergraduate and graduate teaching and mentoring to support the SOE’s education mission.

Applicants for Full Professor positions are expected to be global leaders in their respective fields. Successful candidates will develop and lead internationally recognized research programs aligning with one or more of the SOE’s strategic directions.

、Qualifications

·         Candidates must have a PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering or a related field at date of hire.

·         Fluent in Chinese is NOT a prerequisite. All research, teaching, and service activities can be conducted in English.

·         We seek ideal candidates who have the commitment and capacity to stay at the research forefront or who are emerging as the most influential figures in their fields.
