Responsibilities • Design and create high performance API services • Write reusable, testable and efficient code • Integrate with front-end applications and other services • Deploy service to different environments on AWS Skills And Qualifications • Strong proficiency with JavaScript or Java (and open to use JavaScript/TypeScript) • Solid knowledge of Node.js and experience with one of the popular backend frameworks (Fastify, NestJS etc.) • Experience with at least one popular relational database • Experience with CI/CD workflow • Understanding the NoSQL database concept • Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application • Familiar with micro-service concept • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git • Experience with AWS
