Role Purpose Statement (Write a brief statement regarding the objective of the position and why it exists):
This position is designed to enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of local import and export daily operations. The specialist will serve as the critical communication bridge between the plant, TE and customs authorities, ensuring smooth processes and proactively addressing any challenges. Act as the primary point of contact and communication bridge for customs, TE, and other government officers. Result in more contribution on XM plant final financial target.
Main Accountabilities (List 6-8 major areas of responsibilities in order of importance, and purpose of these activities:
Routing operation
o Importation process for both container or bulk vessel
- monitor the status of customs clearance releasing and update.
-Create discharging plan according to planning the tankfarm capacity and execution(for container) and the
coordination needed if any abnormal during, and related operation in SAP as well.
-CIQ certificate chasing and sharing;
-customs inspection coordination
o Payment process
- monthly data verification and payment application
-monthly spending report and analysis Vs accrued in SAP.
- tolling business I/E whole process handling including customs clearance, handbook application ,termination and shipping booking etc., .
- spare parts or equipment importation whole process including pre-evaluation, docs needed checking, customs clearance etc.,.
o Export process
-freight inquiry and forecast to commercial
- container export booking
- define haulage plan from plant to yard according to CRD and liner deadline and execution, also monitor and problem solving if any abnormal during.
Vendor management
o Organize bidding activity together with procurement.
o Vendor performance monthly evaluation.
o Related cost maintenance in system.
Other task assigned
o as a dedicated contact window for customs and related government officers to coordinate like audit, abnormal cases during clearance etc.,
o Termly visit custos and CIQ to maintain a good relationship with them to keep our customs clearance smooth and efficiency.

o 100% and on-time fulfillment for daily import
